Inspirational Margaret

I had the pleasure not long ago of meeting Margaret. Margaret has recently moved to the Northside but has such an affinity with Stones Corner and Greenslopes that she still likes to get things done over this way. The more amazing thing is that Margaret is legally blind, having struggled with both glaucoma and macular degeneration.

Margaret mentioned that what she likes about Stones Corner is that people are always ready to assist her if she gets a little lost.

Her sense of humor was infectious, and her desire to keep living is inspirational.

She is constantly looking at getting the most out of herself and she took up my offer of seeing the guys at the Vision Rehab Clinic at QUT for some tips on day to day functioning with her low vision.
